Senior Geologist - Training role
Inadequate training is the biggest complaint we hear from sites, whether they use contractors or their own staff.
This (once little) Aussie Geoservices company has developed into a strong industry leader, largely because of the training they give their Geologists and the quality and consistency of their work.
As you would expect, training is a major draw card (especially for junior Geologists), so you will find motivated young professionals, keen to develop themselves and their careers, not just Geos chasing dollars.
Far beyond an 'on the job' training role, you will design and implement full technical training programs, including manuals etc, that will be rolled out across projects, locally and oversees, across a number of commodites.
Even though you have experience in setting up training programs already, this is a pretty big role. Supporting you will be the Exploration Manager and Training department, as well as Senior Exploration Geologists.
Brisbane based role, with site visits as needed.
